Enrico Pastore lives and works in Turin. He is director, critic, and producer of cultural event. He is gradueted in History and Critics of Arts with a thesis about John Cage’s musical and theatrical performances at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (2001). He studied also with Fernando da Costa (ES) François Tanguy-Theatre du Radeau (F) and Jakob Shokking (DK). He worked in Venice as director in DAF Theatrical Company from 1998 to 2005. During this period he focused his reaserch on Theatrical/musical performance and new operas in cooperation with University of Venice, Gran Teatro La Fenice, Amici della lirica di Padova, Teatro fondamenta Nove, Teatro Groggia, Laboratorio Novamusica. He directed The Kaiser von Atlantis by Viktor Ullmann (Gran Teatro la Fenice -1999), Mavra by Igor Stravinsky (Gran Teatro la Fenice. 2000), Words and Music by Samuel Beckett and Morton Feldmann as italian premiere (Teatro Fondamenta Nove – 2001), La Giraffa by Luis Bunuel and Giovanni Mancuso an original new opera (Teatro Groggia – 2001), Theatre Piece by John Cage (Teatro Groggia – 2002), Le Nove Porte, original new creation (Teatro Groggia – 2003), and The Fall of Costantinople (Stresa – 2004). After this period he moved to Turin and started to cooperate with Teatro de la Caduta making several works as director: Noir Varieté (2006), The Fall of Costantinople (2011) and nomerous performances. As producer of cultural event he cooperated with important institution like Biennale di Venezia (As assistant and line producer of Pippo Delbono Her Bijit – 1999), for Teatro Groggia in Venice he organized several meetings about new operas, theatrical/musical performance and theatre of mixed means (2000-2002), Le Settimane Musicali di Stresa (line producer . 2005), Incontri Cinematografici di Stresa (maniging director from 2006 to 2011). Since 2012 he write critical essays and review of theatre and dance performances on PASSPARnous, Web Arts Magazine, following several international festivals of Theatre and Dance at Biennale di Venezia, Festival de la Batie (CH), Festival TNT - Terrassa Noves Tendències Terrassa – Barcellona, Uovo Festival, Performa Festival (CH), Venice International Performance Art Week, Bologna Live Arts Week, Interplay, La Piattaforma, Insoliti Festival, Electro Camp Festival Venice. His current work is titrated Imaginary landscapes: tale on invisible cities and presented in Turin on July 14 (2016).
